Lindsey Quintana is a Colorado native who moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest for her undergraduate training at Seattle Pacific University. There, she completed her BS in physiology with a minor in chemistry in 2016. Now in her first year of training in the NYU MD program, Lindsey is the 2019 recipient of the Landy Fellowship for Plastic Surgery Research. She is excited to join the Lu lab effort to further characterize the molecular mechanisms underlying hidradenitis suppurativa. Broadly, her research interests include skin stem cells, wound healing and skin of color. Outside of spending time with family and friends, her favorite pastimes are snowboarding, traveling, and trying new foods around NYC!
